MPCE are the Structural Engineers for this project. The building consists of 14 Levels of hotel, retail and parking with a highly geometrically irregular floor plan. The challenging aspect of the design is the buildings lateral stability with its irregular floor plan coupled with being located in a cyclonic wind zone.
MPCE provided a structural review and design certification for this irregular structural steel building.
MPCE provided the full design, documentation and site supervision for this project. The challenging aspect of this project was that the structure consisted of multiple split levels on a sloping site. What further increased the difficulty of this project was a considerable amount of the existing walls were to be demolished with no design drawings available. MPCE provided substantial site supervision and worked closely with builder to provide a structural solution satisfying the clients requirement for and open plan layout.
MPCE provided structural services for the refurbishment and strengthening works of existing structures throughout the schools facilities
MPCE provided the structural review and certification of the new satellite dishes installed at the site. The site was a sloping site where overall stability was critical.
